Nuclear Reaction Analysis (NRA)

Description

Nuclear Reaction Analysis (NRA) can measure elements of low nuclear masses (hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and boron). In this technique, the incident particles induce a nuclear reaction in the material, causing the emission of particles characteristic of the analyzed material. This method can evaluate atomic concentrations quantitatively in thin films.

Uses

  • Measure concentrations of H, C, N, O and B in coatings
