Description

Thanks to an instrument from the company Instrumentors, the GCM offers measurement services for the adhesion force and friction coefficient. An adhesive band fixed to the coating is pulled at a constant rate (cm/min) by an increasing force until a failure occurs. The adhesion force is then obtained as a function of time. This apparatus is also useful to measure the frictional coefficient.
